Hosting Checker Announces Release of Buy One Hosting Plan, Get The Next Hosting Plan Free Concept

August 21, 2004 -- Hosting Checker recently launched a buy one get one free plan. The concept is simple, and it's completely unique within the hosting industry. Several steps are involved, whenever a customer makes a hosting purchase from one of the advertisors, they need to remember a few pieces of information. Some of them include the date of purchase, the hosting company they purchased from, the URL involved in the purchase, and some personnel information. After the initial purchase, if the customer needs an additional website or simply needs to extend the hosting account on their existing website, that's where the plan comes into play.

The customer makes a purchase from a second host, predetermined by Hosting Checker, fills out the form on the Hosting Checker website, then recieves a check in the mail for $105.52, thus covering the cost of the second purchase.

When asked how this plan is possible without losing advertisors, Jason Shpik (the owner of the website) answered, "advertisers are actually attracted by this idea, the main reason is only about 5% of customers opt for moving their website to another host for a year [thus getting the refund without having 2 websites. This is because the customers with one website either forget about this plan after 11 months, or they simply don't want to go to the trouble of changing website hosts."
